Johansson, Reynolds to adopt child?

Scarlett Johansson and husband Ryan Reynolds are reported to be adopting a child.

The pair, who got married last September, have said that they dream of providing a loving home for a disadvantaged child.

32-year-old Reynolds told Glamour: "My oldest brother is adopted and I have every intention of adopting at some time. I'm very grateful for having my brother in my life. I couldn't be more pro-adoption. There are plenty of kids in the world that need it."

In January, Johansson told Harper's Bazaar that she was not ready to give birth to children. The Vicky Cristina Barcelona actress said: "I'm not pregnant nor will I be any time soon."
