Rupert Grint has been described as a "great kisser" by his Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince co-star Jessie Cave.

Cave, who plays Lavender Brown, said that she was happy to kiss the actor in scenes for the latest instalment of the film series.

The 22-year-old actress told Bang Showbiz: "I can't describe how happy I was when I got the part, but I did have to kiss Rupert - a lot! Luckily, he's a great kisser, excellent even. It was hard not to laugh in the beginning but in the end, I had a great time!"

Grint was recently diagnosed with mild swine flu while filming the final two films.
