The 20-year-old actor was forced to take a brief break from working on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows earlier this year after falling victim to a "mild" bout of the virus.
Speaking to reporters yesterday, Radcliffe said: "He's fine, he's fine. He was probably faking it, old sick note. He'll be back filming on Monday. And if he not I'll have to kick him out of bed."
When informed about Radcliffe's remark, Grint said: "I'm not surprised. I didn't go into work for five days, though, it was quite a weird thing coming down with swine flu."
Grint recently revealed that he had been "quite scared" when he was first diagnosed but admitted that the illness was actually "just like any other flu".
