Uri Geller will be questioned by police who are investigating Michael Jackson's death, it has emerged.

The TV personality, who was one of Jackson's long-time friends, has reportedly consulted his lawyers in preparation for the grilling.

Matt Fiddes, the former head of the singer's British security, will also be asked questions as part of the police probe.

Fiddes, 30, told The People: "Uri and I have been told we will be quizzed by detectives. We saw a lot of things and regularly met Michael's circle of doctors. We don't have anything to hide and will co-operate as best we can."

Geller, 62, added: "I didn't live with Michael, but like Matt, the things I did witness were horrifying - and destroyed my hope for his future."

Jackson's sister La Toya recently speculated that the pop icon was murdered for his fortune.

A police source commented: "It is a far-reaching investigation. He had close friends in the UK who may have vital evidence."
