Alesha Dixon 'wants to be Oprah'

Alesha Dixon has announced that she would love to be the next Oprah Winfrey.

The Strictly Come Dancing star-turned-judge revealed that the has great respect for the talkshow host and would love to have her own TV series at some point.

The 30-year-old singer told Cosmopolitan magazine: "My TV idol is Oprah. I love Oprah and want to be her. I'd love to do a show like hers. I'm making a documentary this year about absent fathers, which will be hard hitting."

Dixon also talked about where she thinks she'll be in 10 years' time, saying: "I'll be 40, so maybe I'll be drowning my sorrows with a bottle of vodka! Only joking. I'd like to still be working but be more chilled out. I pray to God that I'll be in a good place and that I'll be optimistic about turning 50. And I like to think I'll have a family."
