According to People, Debbie Rowe is planning to attend a temporary guardianship hearing for Prince Michael, 12, and 11-year-old Paris at the Los Angeles Superior Court on July 20.
"[Debbie] says that she will definitely be at the custody hearing," said Marc Schaffel, a former business partner of Jackson and a close friend of Rowe.
Jackson's mother Katherine was previously appointed temporary guardian of the children, and was named in the late singer's will as the preferred carer. His 7-year-old son Blanket is understood to have been born via an unidentified surrogate.
It was previously reported that Rowe, who was married to Jackson from 1996 until 1999, is hoping to be awarded full custody of her children.
