Katy Perry swears off 'hunky' guys

Katy Perry has announced that she is no longer attracted to "hunky" men.

The 24-year-old singer, who is currently dating Gym Class Heroes star Travis McCoy, claimed that her love interests must now be artistic and imaginative to hold her attention.

Speaking to Live! magazine, she revealed: "These days I'm attracted to creative men - musicians or artists who are able to express intense emotions through their work. How they look is secondary to how they stimulate me mentally.

"In high school, hunky was good enough for me and that's how I ended up in a relationship with a golfer who was just about to turn pro.

"I had no interest in golf and he had no interest in music. We had absolutely nothing in common. It was doomed to fail and it did after a few months. No more golfers for me."

Perry's image was recently labelled "contrived" and "sinister" by her pop rival Lily Allen.
