Paris 'gave Jackson final gift'

Michael Jackson's daughter apparently gave him a gift of a heart-shaped necklace as he lay in his open casket.

Jackson's sister La Toya revealed that 11-year-old Paris wrapped the trinket round her father's wrist in the LA cemetery so that he will be able to wear it forever.

She is quoted as saying: "Paris told me, 'The heart is in two pieces. I want one half to go to daddy and I will wear the other half forever'. She carefully wrapped it around his wrist and said 'Daddy, this is for you'."

La Toya continued: "Those children were his greatest joy. He was a superstar but the only people who loved him unconditionally were the children."

Paris apparently bought the necklace and some coloured stones after her father died. She later wore the jewellery while making a speech about him at the LA memorial service.
