Andre again denies Houghton rumours

Peter Andre has again denied that he is romantically involved with former Celebrity Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton.

The singer had previously said that Houghton was only a "good friend" after she attended a Barbie-themed birthday celebration for his daughter Princess Tiaamii.

Andre told New: "We met for the first time a few weeks ago and have been pictured at a couple of events together, but I promise you we are nothing more than friends.

"She came along to Princess's birthday party at my new home, but so did 25 other people. I invited Dani Behr to join us, but she couldn't make it, so Chantelle wasn't the only female on the guest list."

He added: "I've said before that Chantelle is a sweet and lovely girl, and that hasn't changed. But my new girlfriend? Absolutely not.

"I'm still hurting over what has happened in the last few months and I'm trying to get my head around the changes in my life, so a new romance is the last thing on my mind."

Andre's estranged wife Katie Price has said that she is pleased for the pair if they are together, while Houghton has previously described Andre as the "perfect man".
