It was reported earlier that the 79-year-old paid Rowe a sum of $4 million (£2.4 million) to surrender custodial rights to 12-year-old Prince Michael and Paris Michael Katherine, 11.
However, according to Radar Online, Katherine's attorney Londell McMillan has refuted the claims, saying: "The reports are false."
Rowe previously said that she will attend a guardianship hearing for the custody of the two children on July 20.
It was recently suggested that the King Of Pop's mum was denied control of his estate, while the original executors of his will - John Branca and John McClain – will serve as special administrators of his assets until August 3.
