Arquette 'swelters in plastic box'

David Arquette is suffering in 85 degrees heat just hours into his two-day plastic box charity challenge.

The Scream actor is spending two days above New York City's Madison Square Garden to raise money for charity Feeding America.

The star, who is married to Friends actress Courteney Cox, told WENN: "It is starting to get a little hot up here - but I had no hesitation saying yes."

Arquette revealed that he is keeping in touch with the outside world and avoiding boredom via social networking sites, saying: "I'm going on Facebook and blogging from here. Just passing the time hanging out. It's fun!"

He added that he may be expecting visits from his celebrity pals, including Jennifer Aniston. "I think some friends are going to call by. [Jennifer] is in New York. I'm not sure if she's going to come along - she might just drive by," he said.
