Geldof, Lowe 'axed from modelling agency'

Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe have been dropped by top model agency Select, reports Heat.

Since signing with the company, Geldof has carried out promotional work for clothing chain New Look and featured on the front cover of Italian Vogue.

Meanwhile, Lowe replaced Kate Moss as the face of lingerie brand Agent Provocateur.

An insider commented: "All the girls were being pictured partying hard. They were becoming over-exposed in the papers which is probably why Select thought the agency was moving in the wrong direction."

In a statement, Select confirmed: "It's correct we no longer have a talent section in our agency. This included girls such as Lowe and Geldof."

Alice Dellal was also reportedly dumped by the firm.
