'Slumdog' star: 'Kidman is strange'

Nicole Kidman has been dubbed "strange" in Slumdog Millionaire star Rubina Ali's new autobiography.

The 9-year-old actress recently filmed a soft drinks commercial with Kidman and found her behaviour on set bizarre.

The child star, who soon releases Slumgirl Dreaming: My Journey To The Stars, writes: "I really liked her, but she was very quiet and didn't speak much. I think she was a bit shy."

Ali later describes Kidman as "strange" because she didn't leave her trailer during the shoot. She claims that the Australia actress was scared of the damage that the sun could do to her complexion.
