Cole 'to front Cowell's media firm'

Simon Cowell wants Cheryl Cole to be the face of his new business venture with retail tycoon Sir Philip Green, according to a report.

The music mogul is believed to be planning the launch of a new global entertainment company - which would incorporate his ITV1 talent shows The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent, as well as other showbiz and fashion projects.

According to the Daily Express, Cowell has now recruited his X Factor co-star to join supermodel Kate Moss in the media firm.

A source revealed: "[Cheryl's] flown to LA to source and research different elements that Simon wants her to be involved in - producing, recording, spotting new bands and acting.

"Cheryl will be Cowell's figurehead and style-setter - a more wholesome, girl-next-door image than Green's Kate - and therefore a perfect balance for the company. Everyone loves Cheryl, she's a marketing man's dream."

Cole has also been tipped for a role on the planned US version of The X Factor next year.
