T4's Jones: 'I don't want a relationship'

Steve Jones has admitted that he is not interested in finding a long-term girlfriend.

The T4 host has been linked to a long list of women in recent years and was most recently said to be dating Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, he revealed: "I don't want a relationship. On a basic level, I just like girls. It's insane to believe there is one person for you. There's, like, three billion of you lot out there!"

Jones added that the possibility of having children would not inspire him to settle down in the future, commenting: "My father was never comfortable around kids - I see a lot of him in me now.

"I like my independence and I want to have fun. I don't think kids come into that. I don't need to leave a legacy. It doesn't make any sense - I'll be dead."

The 32-year-old presenter, who split from Fearne Cotton last year, has previously confessed to having a crush on Countdown's Rachel Riley.
