Richie 'looking forward to West End return'

Shane Richie has said that he is looking forward to returning to the West End stage.

Speaking to DS, the former EastEnders actor revealed that he is being lined up for a new musical production.

"I'm in talks to play Bobby Darin in a new stage musical in the West End called Dream Lover," he said. "Hopefully next year, I'll be doing that. I've really missed [the stage] so I'm looking forward to getting back and doing that."

Richie, who was previously a bluecoat at a Pontins holiday camp, recently ruled out a return to the BBC One soap.
