Jolie dresses 'stolen from stylist'

Three boxes of dresses set aside for Angelina Jolie have been stolen, it has been reported.

Los Angeles-based stylist Jennifer Rabe was preparing the garments for the Oscar-winning actress to select for the promotion of her upcoming film Salt, the New York Post reports.

It is understood that the dresser was to meet with Jolie for a fitting on Friday, however the hand-picked clothes were swiped on Thursday night.

"Every designer who was sending pieces was trying to send their best stuff," a source said. "Angelina was just starting the fitting process for pieces to wear when she begins promoting Salt."

It was claimed in May that the Wanted star suffered minor injuries while shooting an action sequence for the movie, which co-stars Liev Schreiber and is directed by Phillip Noyce.

Salt is due out in cinemas next year.
