Emma Watson 'too busy to be rebellious'

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has joked that she is too busy to follow in the footsteps of other child stars and explore her "rebellious" streak.

The actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the fantasy franchise, told The Daily Telegraph that all her time is spent filming the J.K. Rowling series or preparing to begin university in September.

"I can totally understand why young actors go nuts. The level of interest in their lives, the pressure to be perfect. That’s what you do, you screw up," she explained.

"I don’t know why I haven’t gone off the rails. I don’t have time. I’m working too hard to be of the rebellious nature... I’m sure when I hit my 30s I’ll go crazy. I’ll have this rush of hormones and madness."

Earlier this year, the 19-year-old's co-star Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) admitted that he was amazed that the film's young stars had never fought back against their clean-cut image.
