Van Outen washes up in Mead's dreamcoat

Denise Van Outen has admitted that she washes up in husband Lee Mead's technicolor dreamcoat.

Speaking on Alan Carr's Channel 4 series Chatty Man, the ex-Big Breakfast presenter said that she loves the outfit because she can give it a "big swish".

"I've got it, he doesn't know this because he's been away but I've been wearing it," she said. "I do, I wear it doing the washing up because it's got a good swish on it.

"You know when you've got a long skirt, and you do that big swish thing, you can really do that with the coat. Lovely."

The 35-year-old met Mead on 2007 BBC talent show Any Dream Will Do, which landed him the role of Jospeh in the West End. The couple married earlier this year.
