Coleen Rooney admits to pregnancy pressure

Coleen Rooney has admitted that it was "a bit of a relief" when the tabloids discovered that she was pregnant because it took away the pressure of having to keep the news secret.

The TV presenter confirmed that she was expecting her first child with footballer husband Wayne in April after an alleged friend of the couple disclosed the information to a Sunday newspaper.

Speaking to Heat, she said: "I wanted to keep it a secret until I was three months gone, but the papers got hold of it beforehand. I was like a mad woman on Saturday afternoon, ringing around everyone to tell them I was pregnant.

"I didn't want them to hear it from the newspapers. But actually it was a bit of a relief, because it's hard to keep something like that a secret."

The 23-year-old went on to say that both she and Wayne "couldn't stop giggling" after they discovered the news, saying: "When I took the test we were both there. But it was really hard to get my head around the fact that I was actually pregnant."

She also revealed that the couple had discussed baby names but insisted that none of them were "really out there", adding: "I keep changing my mind all the time. There are a few that Wayne and I have agreed on, but I don't think they'll be too mad."

Rooney is reportedly due to give birth in October.
