Jamie Spears was granted control over the 'Womanizer' star's affairs last year, after an emergency hearing was requested following news that the singer had been hospitalised over alleged mental health issues.
According to TMZ, the former chef now wants the court to review the agreement when Spears's current world tour comes to an end in November. Only the court has the power to stop the conservatorship.
The celebrity website has alleged that the agreement could have been undone much sooner, but several vendors on the 'Circus' tour were contractually promised that Jamie would remain in control during the shows.
Jamie, who was reportedly paid $16,000 (£9,691) per month in the role, previously filed a $1.5 million (£908,623) document showing that he had obtained a bond to protect Britney's assets and ensure that he remained in control of her finances until the end of the year.
