Kennedy 'proposes to Love Hewitt on stage'

Ghost Whisperer co-stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have sparked fresh speculation that they are engaged.

According to the New York Post, Kennedy popped the question to his actress girlfriend during a stand-up comedy performance in California, after an audience member shouted out, "Marry her!"

One onlooker alleged that the duo then received a "standing ovation" when Kennedy got down on one knee and Love Hewitt accepted his proposal in spite of the absence of a ring.

Representatives for the couple have yet to comment, however Kennedy recently told DS that he was "not ready" to wed the actress despite her previously joking that she was expecting an engagement ring within the next year.
