Feltz: 'Geldof's tattoos are crude'

Vanessa Feltz has admitted that she isn't a fan of Peaches Geldof's tattoos, claiming that the star has "desecrated" her body.

Geldof, 20, recently showed off her body artwork as she modelled a new underwear collection in a 1950s-style photoshoot.

Commenting on the pictures in her Daily Express column, Feltz asked: "Am I the only person who saw the pictures of lissom Peaches Geldof looking utterly gorgeous in a new fabulously pretty and sexy range of lingerie and thought: 'What a shame that a beautiful girl has desecrated her perfect body with a crude daisy chain tattoo running from knee to bust with all the artistic merit of a ballpoint doodle on the back of a 9-year-old's rough book?'

"The body beautiful has no need of a rudimentary scrawl etched over it."

Geldof recently insisted that she is pleased with her image, describing herself as "grungy and weird".

She said: "It's obvious I'm not dressing for men. I don't want to be sexy, I'm, like, covered in tattoos. I have piercings."
