Ryan O'Neal: 'I see Fawcett every day'

Ryan O'Neal has revealed that he "sees" Farrah Fawcett every day.

The 68-year old Love Story star has spoken about how he is coping with the loss of his long-time companion after she died from anal cancer last month, E! reports.

"I said I'd see her soon. And I see her every day. And I write to her. I write in my journal now to her," he said.

The actor also explained that he had been trying to encourage the couple's 24-year-old son Redmond to do the same. The incarcerated youth, however, is reportedly struggling to mourn his mother while serving out a sentence in Castaic, California on drug charges.

Ryan added: "Redmond says he's trying to see her. It's a little harder in a reformatory to grieve, so I told him to be patient and, when he got out, we'd grieve together."

It was reported earlier that Redmond vowed to change his troubled ways in his last conversation with Fawcett.
