Andre denies using split to sell records

Peter Andre has denied claims that he is using his break-up with Katie Price to promote his new album.

The pair split after nearly four years of marriage in May and are waiting for their divorce plans to finalise.

Andre told IN:DEMAND on Manchester's Key103: "Some of the songs are extremely personal. 'Call The Doctor' was going to be the first single, but I didn't want people to think I was using it."

He also admitted that a song on the record called 'Distance' is "personal" to him, before reading out the lyrics: "Every day was worth it. The reason I said 'Yeah, I do'. But as the time went on, it started to unfold. You're not the person that I once knew."
