Jude Law 'strikes female photographer'

Jude Law has been involved in a clash with a female photographer, according to reports.

The actor was dining with Leonardo DiCaprio at London's Automat restaurant before confronting the unnamed woman as he made his exit, says The Sun.

The photographer told the newspaper: "He hit me full on the face, it was a real stinger, it was very sore."

However, Law's spokeswoman denied that he lashed out at the female, saying: "This is all nonsense. Last night's incident was an accident.

"Jude was blinded by the camera flashes when he left the restaurant, raised his hand to shield himself and inadvertently struck somebody standing very close. He apologised and left. Pictures of this sort can often be misleading."
