Eubank 'using dentistry to cure lisp'
Former boxer Chris Eubank is spending £30,000 on dentistry to cure his lisp, it has been reported.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the Celebrity Big Brother contestant has visited a clinic in Ireland to undergo surgery on his front teeth, which he hopes will alter his speech.

Dentist Barry Buckley is reportedly aiming to reduce the gap in Eubank's front teeth and will have others lengthened.

"Chris is having the full cosmetic makeover," said Buckley. "The main purpose of the work is to make his teeth look better. They are not a bad set of teeth but they are a little bit worse for wear because of his career.

"But it has already started to improve his lisp as his speech is altered. He told me, 'I'm having trouble with my TH but my S is much better'. The improvement in his lisp is down to closing the gap between the front teeth."

Eubank, 42, is quoted as saying: "Before long nobody will be able to accuse me of having a lisp. [Buckley's] seeing to it."

The sports star will apparently complete his treatment in five weeks' time.
