Wilkinson 'hanging up stripper's pole'

Kendra Wilkinson has announced that she is giving up the use of her stripper's pole until after she gives birth.

The Playboy playmate, who is expecting her first child with husband and American footballer Hank Baskett, claimed that the item is not appropriate for a pregnant woman.

Wilkinson told E!: "The stripper pole's coming down now because of the baby. Not forever, but for a while. It will be hung up in the closet."

The 24-year-old reality TV star also spoke about her upcoming childbirth, saying: "I thought I was scared, but I know the moment's going to come where I'm like, 'Oh my god, it was so worth it'. It's only a little bit of pain for a lifetime of happiness."

Wilkinson added: "I'm concentrating more on what's healthy for the baby more than my weight gain. If that's what it takes to make my baby healthy, that's what has to happen."
