Geller: 'Jackson wanted a knighthood'

WENN

Uri Geller has claimed that Michael Jackson was keen to be knighted.

The TV psychic revealed that Jackson discussed his hopes after seeing his friend Steven Spielberg awarded with the honour in 2001.

Speaking on an ITV documentary, Geller commented: "When Michael heard Steven got a knighthood, he wanted one too - and he should have."

The star added that Michael was a big fan of the Queen - and hoped to meet her when they paid a private visit to the House Of Commons together.

He said: "I once took him to the Houses Of Parliament and he whispered: 'Is the Queen here?'"

Geller also used the ITV show to claim that he once predicted the circumstances which surround Jackson's death.

My Friend Michael Jackson: Uri's Story airs this Sunday at 8pm on ITV1.
