32-year-old former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has reportedly been on several dates with ex-Pop Idol contestant Darius Danesh, 24.
A friend of Darius informed the News of the World: "She's fallen for him very hard and very quickly. She even says Darius is the man of her dreams.
"They may seem like an odd couple but it looks like the real thing. Geri has been swooning that Darius is absolutely gorgeous."
The couple got together at the Tickled Pink charity event for breast cancer in October where they both made appearances.
Darius recently split from actress Natasha Henstridge, while Geri's past exploits in her love life have included Robbie Williams and Chris Evans.
Despite the optimism of Darius' camp, Geri's spokesman told the News of the World: "They are friends but Geri is still single."
