Crawford: 'I need space from Westwick'

Chace Crawford has moved out of the apartment he shared with fellow Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick, it has been reported.

The actors had lived in a New York City residence together since filming began on the popular CW drama in 2007, however the 24-year-old admitted that he "needs his own privacy", People reports.

Crawford said: "I needed my own space and it's a little bit secluded and I like that… I have my own privacy."

He also revealed that he had very little criteria for finding a new area to reside in, adding: "I've been walking around a bit. I found a nice Chipotle in the neighbourhood and that's all I need. I need my Chipotle and my little coffee maker and I'm good."

Earlier this year, Westwick refuted rumours that he and his co-star were anything more than friends. Such speculation has reportedly plagued the pair because of their former living condition.
