The Darkness have a sold-out tour ahead of them, but Justin Hawkins may well be unable to play guitar due to injuries sustained from a stained-glass window.
In what appears to have been an alcohol-fuelled scuffle, Hawkins was punched by an unknown assailant which caused him to fall through a stained-glass window and sustain wounds including an injury to his hand, rendering it very difficult for him to play guitar.
Doctors tried to repair the damage through the night in London's Princess Grace Hospital.
A stand-in musician may have to be employed to take over Hawkins' guitar part.
The tour is scheduled to begin on November 24th.
