Everett: 'I'd like to make Jesus documentary'

Rupert Everett has revealed that he would like to make a documentary on Jesus.

The 50-year-old actor has expressed an interest in charting the life of Jesus but fears that the project would never get the green light.

Everett told The Mirror: "I'd like to make a documentary about Jesus, though I'm not sure who would let me!"

The Stardust star has also noted that he wishes he could return to his youth to study more diligently.

He added: "I hated history at school but I love it now. I would love to go back to school and study it."

Everett recently sparked controversy when he described Michael Jackson as "a freak" who resembled a cartoon character.
