Amanda Holden would consider surrogacy

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has announced that she may consider recruiting a surrogate mother in the future.

The 38-year-old TV personality admitted that she may be too old to have children herself when she finally feels ready to expand her family.

Holden confirmed that she could follow in the footsteps of Sex And The City actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who last month welcomed the arrival of twin daughters born through surrogacy.

She told The Sun: "I can't see where I'd have time and I worry all my eggs will dry up. Some of my friends are struggling. Maybe I'd do a Sarah Jessica Parker."

The former Wild At Heart star already has a three-year-old daughter named Lexi with her husband Chris Hughes.
