Thornton's daughter released from jail

Billy Bob Thornton's estranged daughter has been released from prison on bail two months after being arrested for murder.

Amanda Brumfield was charged with first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter after one-year-old Olivia Garcia died during a fall in her care.

The accused, who has not had any contact with her father for several years, was released from Orange County jail after paying $279,000 (£186,000) bail.

The 29-year-old is the Mr Woodcock actor's daughter from his marriage to first wife Melissa Gatlin.

Brumfield is due to go on trial in December this year.
