Jeff Brazier has insisted that he intends to keep his two children out of the media spotlight following the death of their mother Jade Goody four months ago.

The TV presenter admitted that he wants Bobby, 6, and Freddie, 5, to lead as normal a life as possible without any press attention.

"I know where I want my children to be and that's not in front of cameras every two seconds," he told Heat.

"The last few months it's been about getting everything sorted so that we run as smoothly as possible and everybody's happy. And that's exactly where we're at."

Brazier, who was in a relationship with the late reality star between 2002 and 2004, claimed that getting used to being a single father had been a steep learning curve.

"You never know what the right thing to do is until it actually happens, and when something on such a large scale happens in your life you realise quickly what the correct thing to do is. And I've pretty much gone with what I believe in."

Speaking about his biggest achievements, the 30-year-old added: "In all honestly, I'm pretty proud of how I've handled everything recently.

"Yes, I've got work achievements, but it's recent events and how I've behaved throughout that have given me the greatest sense of self."
