The pair were spotted sharing an "intimate booth" at Katsuya Brentwood in Los Angeles, where they were "affectionate throughout dinner", reports People.
"It's been going on for a bit now," said an insider. "She's very supportive of him - she seems very happy."
Davis apparently grabbed James's hand as they left the eatery and was described as acting "a little giddy" by a witness.
They were also spotted being a "little flirty" at the reopening of Santa Monica's Shangri-La hotel last month.
