Borrell 'drunk under table' by Flintoff

Razorlight's Johnny Borrell was reportedly "drunk under the table" by England cricketer Andrew Flintoff last week.

According to The Mirror, the pair attended a charity event together after Flintoff helped England to victory over Australia in the second Ashes test match.

A witness claimed that the singer's "rock and roll credentials were hit for six" when Flintoff's teammates "drank him under the table" at the bash.

"It was always going to get messy. He certainly puts it away," said Borrell.

The frontman is a big cricket follower and was rumoured to have played a private gig for the England team during their unsuccessful 2006 Ashes series.
