Coleen Rooney has dismissed suggestions that she will rush to lose her baby weight after giving birth later this year.

The Coleen's Real Women presenter, who is expecting her first child with footballer husband Wayne in October, has claimed that she will try and lose the weight in a "sensible" manner.

"I honestly can't say what I'm going to do until I've actually had the baby, as I don't know how I am going to feel," she wrote in her OK column.

"I'm not planning on rushing into losing weight. I do at some point want to go back to the gym, but what's the point in going mad to lose weight? I'd do it sensibly, have a sensible diet and go to the gym."

She added: "At the end of day, I want to spend time with my baby and enjoy that, so there's no reason to get back in shape fast - and besides, it's coming up to winter so I won't have to squeeze into a bikini!"

It was previously rumoured that the 23-year-old had been offered a big money deal to record a fitness video that would follow her attempts to shed the baby weight.
