Andre brands Price interviews as "laughable"

Peter Andre has branded his estranged wife Katie Price as "laughable" following comments that she made about their marriage and his parenting skills.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer, who split from Price in May, wrote in his New magazine column that he "couldn't keep up" with the contradictory statements that the star had made in recent interviews.

"Kate went on Loose Women last week and when she was asked about our break-up, she said that she knew the marriage was over before it ended," he said.

"It's weird because when Piers Morgan was interviewing her, she said that she never thought our marriage would end."

He went on to criticise the former glamour model's remarks about his role as a parent, saying: "She went on GMTV and talked about how she's glad I'm spending time with the kids these days, which implied that I didn't see them much beforehand. This is laughable!

"I have always been a hands-on dad and anyone who has ever watched our show will know this. Filming or no filming, I'm consistent and haven't changed. To insinuate that I haven't been a good dad in the past is downright insulting and untrue."

Andre also confirmed that he was taking legal advice over statements that Price made about his fidelity on GMTV.
