Diaz 'accepts stranger's proposal'

Cameron Diaz agreed to marry an unknown man at a recent press conference in San Diego.

The 37-year-old was at the Comic-Con convention to promote new film The Box, which is scheduled for release in December.

During the junket, an unidentified man shouted, "Will you marry me?" and the actress replied: "Yes. Where are you? Why not?"

"I always wanted to get married in Vegas," she later told Entertainment Tonight. "I'm very excited because I'm getting married. I've accepted a marriage proposal from one of the fans."

Diaz, who has been romantically linked to John Mayer, Justin Timberlake and Matt Dillon, recently broke up with British model Paul Sculfor.
