Simpson "doing good" after Romo split

Jessica Simpson is "doing good" following her split from boyfriend Tony Romo, according to her father.

The Newlyweds star parted ways with Romo earlier this month amid reports that the American footballer was not ready to marry her.

Speaking to E! Online at a party for his record label on Monday night, her dad said: "She's good. She's going very good."

Simpson, 29, also attended the bash in honour of Russian singer An-Ya, who is the latest addition to the label. She is reported to have walked away with a $10,000, 5-carat ring from jewellery designer Pascal Mouawad, who had been hosting the event.

A fellow party guest added: "If you didn't already know Jessica just went through a break-up, you really would have no way of telling from the way she was behaving at the event. She really seemed happy."
