Curran: 'I love living in Liverpool'

Alex Curran has insisted that she still loves living in Liverpool, despite recent reports saying otherwise.

Steven Gerrard's partner was quoted describing the Northern city as "rough" earlier this week, claiming that the area attracted the "wrong type" of people.

However, in a statement, Curran has clarified her feelings about her hometown.

"I absolutely love living in Liverpool. I love the people, they are so generous and friendly, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world," the WAG told New.

"I have lived here all my life and I am proud to raise our two daughters here. They receive a fantastic education, and as the city of culture, there is so much to offer us as a family."
