Goodrem, McFadden 'pursued by stalker'

Delta Goodrem and her fiancé Brian McFadden have consulted security experts after being cyber-stalked on Twitter.

The engaged couple are apparently considering a restraining order after the man, who refers to himself as "Saviour Mankind" professed his love and "ownership" of Goodrem.

The stalker, who has reportedly tweeted about rape and murder, wrote a letter to McFadden saying: "Brian you are Jewish leave Delta immediately. If you do not leave and as I am spoken for by the faith of love, we will return to the days of Spanish inquisitions, how did it end for them? You are lucky we don't have the death penalty in Australia."

The Herald Sun reports that McFadden has fuelled the man further by responding: "You are close to harm! Be careful."

Goodrem's publicist said: "We are very much aware of this matter but we've been advised not to make any comment. We have security looking at it."

The celebrity couple flew out of Sydney on a charity tour yesterday.
