Harry Potter star Emma Watson is in talks to launch her own ethical clothing range, it has been claimed.
The 19-year-old actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the blockbuster films, is expected to confirm a deal with the Fairtrade company People Tree within weeks.
Watson, who was unveiled as a new model for Burberry in June, will then release her teenage fashion line before the end of the year, according to The Mail On Sunday.
A source revealed: "She's a big supporter of ethical concepts so liked the idea of this. There's also a lot of interest from other influential brands since her success as the face of Burberry.
"Acting is always going to take priority, but she's keen to branch out."
A representative for Watson commented: "Emma supports many Fairtrade organisations but has no formal relationship with any company."
Watson is currently working on Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, the final movie in the series, which will be released in two parts in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
