'Twilight' author's life in comic debut

Stephenie Meyer has reportedly been selected to be immortalised in the comic book series Female Force.

The Twilight author, whose vampire novels are also set to appear in graphic novel form, will be joining the ranks of Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Princess Diana as previous inductees, according to Perez Hilton.

Publisher Bluewater Productions have said that the series "is a broad examination of strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture".

The comic book will follow Meyer's rise to stardom writing the Twilight novels and projects to come.

The film version of New Moon is to be released in the US and UK on November 20.
