Kirstie Allsopp has said that she received a second apology from the Daily Mail after it suggested that she had a crush on Lily Allen in a recent headline.

The Location, Location, Location presenter made the comment on her Twitter page after follower Ben Park noted that at no point during the interview did she make such a statement.

Allsopp said: "By the way, forgot to say, Mail also apologised for stupid, untrue, Lily Allen headline, as you quite rightly noticed, I never said that."

The original headline read "Kirstie Allsopp: I've got a crush on Lily Allen" and has since been replaced with "Kirstie Allsopp: Who would I come back as? - Me!".

When asked about her celebrity crushes during the interview, Allsopp had said: "I have never had a crush on someone unobtainable... I do think Lily Allen and I could be friends - I like her lyrics and her realism."

Allsopp recently won an apology from the same newspaper after it printed an article mocking her physical appearance.
