Price 'to announce engagement this week'

Katie Price will announce that she is engaged to her new boyfriend Alex Reid later this week, a report has claimed.

The reality star jetted off for a holiday with Reid on Sunday amid rumours that she is keen to marry the cage fighter.

Yesterday, it was reported that Price had told Reid's friends that she is "deeply in love" with him and planning a wedding.

According to the Daily Star, the glamour model has now contacted her own pals to organise an engagement bash ahead of her imminent return to the UK.

A source revealed: "Jordan says she is sure Alex is the man for her. She wants to get him up the aisle as quickly as she can. She's invited us to a big party and hinted at an announcement."

Price recently confirmed that she is dating Reid after previously denying the rumours.

The star split from husband Peter Andre in May after nearly four years of marriage.
