Snoop Dogg for special US 'Millionaire'

Snoop Dogg will appear as a special guest on the tenth anniversary of the US version of TV gameshow Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

According to allhiphop.com, the rapper is one of a host of celebrities taking part in the extended series special, which will run over the course of two weeks.

Other stars include Katy Perry, TV chef Rachel Ray, reality star Lauren Conrad, actress Vanessa Williams and the Reverend Al Sharpton. Each individual will be asked one question. If answered correctly, $50,000 (£30,000) will be donated to their favourite charity.

The run of shows will begin this Sunday, August 9 at 8pm on ABC.
