Katie Price: 'I'm not getting engaged'

Katie Price has defended her decision to go on holiday with friends and denied reports that she is to wed new partner Alex Reid.

The glamour model recently confirmed that she is having a relationship with Reid and it had been alleged that she would announce their engagement this week.

Writing on Twitter, Price said: "I'm not getting engaged, nothing of the sort. Just seeing someone I like spending time with!"

She added: "I'm away with my friends relaxing while Pete was due to have children this week... it seems whatever I do is wrong!

"Whilst Pete has children I don't always want to be sat at home on my own. I'm only human!"
